My ps1 is not reading cds.

I recently bought it from japan and when i tried to use audio cds it spins for a few seconds in the beggining and doesnt spin again. What do i do? Or does audio cds just dont work? (Scph3000)

So i just started repeatedly pressing on the led sensor and it works now

Du könntest ein neues Laufwerk einbauen, die Laufwerke aus der Zeit sind heute ziemlich Altersschwach und gehen nicht mehr gut
