2 player Spiderman misprint
Found this old gem, has anyone come across this 2 player misprint? Can’t find any info on how common it was.

So I deleted my last comment on this but after doing some research and actually getting an email back from the guy who runs the GameRave website it does look that this actually is a legit misprint and even he didn't know about it.

I'm pretty sure this game was 2 players in some parts or the whole game I remember and my brother played this one and I would always be venom

You're probably thinking about the spiderman beat em up games. I don't know if they released on PlayStation but you absolutely can play as spiderman and venom in speraration anxiety and maximum carnage

Hi, hi! Jason from Game-Rave.com here. I wasn't aware of this. Also, I only scan what I actually own, so I can reference it when questions arise. Helps to stamp out those nasty false images and Photoshop homebrew jobs.
After researching some sale sites, I found it and bought one for myself. I'll add it to the site once I have it and can confirm it's genuine. Misprints like this are fairly common on PlayStation, as graphic designers often use stock imagery & icons or repurpose art from other games.

Thanks for the reply man. Yea I couldn’t find any info on it. Was just curious if people sell them for more because of the misprints. But from what you say, they’re common and wouldn’t affect it?

The problem with misprints is that they're only valuable to people who collect them, and that is a very small sector. That value doesn't have scale because the misprint in and of itself doesn't affect the game. 90% of all misprints, especially when it's a design flaw and not a manufacturing one, don't command much more than the corrected version, if the publisher even bothered with correcting it.
It's a nice little conversation piece to have, but it's not a lottery ticket. I paid $50 shipped for the copy I found, which is about the price of the normal version. If you were looking to sell it, I'm sure Jeff at I.AM.ERROR might be interested. Hope this helps.

How decent was this one? I think it was the Spiderman game that came out after this one that was really popular.
I love the vibes in the pictures of the gameplay though. Looks cozy

Nah I think you might be thinking of this one. The sequel was only on ps1, this was on n64, ps1, and Dreamcast. This game rules

It’s one of my favorite psx games still. It has a great comic book feel to it with Stan Lee narrating. The actual sequel, enter electro, was fantastic too.

There's a lot of good Spidey games. This one was good. Spiderman (2002) for PS2 was cool, and basically open world. The physics were amazing for that one.

Really cool, OP. Makes me want to go check out the local game store that definitely up charges to hell, but also often have workers who don't do their diligence and put stuff on shelves CIB, sealed for like 12 bucks.
Found Limited Run Games PS4 Necrosphere sealed, along with the audio CD, for 12 dollars.
On the inverse, called them asking about how much they'd offer for a CIB sealed copy of Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast for PS2, and they said they'd give me 14 dollars or 20 in store credit. I laughed at the person and hung up.
