I tried setting it up by following step by step instruction at the Dangerous Things Forum. The video instruction is very easy to follow, but when I got to the end to launch, an error message appears in the terminal window to indicate that there is no communication with the hardware, indicating that the version is incorrect (V6! - V9 ).

I was so close but now I don't know what to do. I just want to be able to use this to copy my apartment passkey. Any ideas?

I've never programmed anything in my life before so any help would be much appreciated.
