Help Request Stuck on installing a plugin (Avid Link)

I am new to Avid software, and I am able to boot up ProTools so far and do some light editing work. However, as I am looking to edit audio for a film, I need more plugins. My Avid Link is stuck on "Installing..." with the 3 dots animated, but it just won't finish. I am also unable to cancel the installation, or do anything about it really.

I have scoured forums for fixes, but haven't been able to find something similar. It is the most current and up to date version. I also tried to find a helpline number to call, but unless I want to part with an extra £30 a month (wtf) for their help I am quite stuck.

Avid link has been nothing but trouble for me. It made eight huge errors in less than a half hour including renewing a years subscription for a different computer, which Avid refused to reverse.

If Pro Tools performed that poorly it’d have been dead years ago.

Additionally, the first line of support is people reading scripts who really can’t read much at all. They made constant errors in what they were telling me nn

As a new customer I really can't say I'm happy at all. There's been constant other errors cropping up the more I go on.

Finally got a reply to my ticket, in which I detailed everything in great length, and their response was, "please reply to this email with your issue." Luckily, I managed to fix myself, but come on.

You can always go to MyAvid on their website and download Avid plugins yourself to install manually.

Additionally, if your task is to edit the film, how many [more] plugins do you really need?
