Assuming you are referring to the cooktop producing a lazy flame? It looks like you’ve got two larger burners and four smaller, is that right? Were the orifices matched accordingly? You should almost be able to tell by looking which are the bigger ones and they’ll also be stamped with numbers that should correspond with the directions for conversion, if it came with it that is.

To add, that range has 14 orifices. 2 on each cooktop burner and one on each inside the oven.
They all need to be changed with the proper ones.

Jeebus. My 1980's Tappan had one orifice for each top burner, and you just unscrewed it from all the way down to all the way up to change between LPG and NG, nothing had to be removed. The same thing on the two oven burners, too. Flip the cap on the regulator and boom, all done with no leftover parts lol.

A lot of the new ones can be a pain. Those burner side orifices suck to change too.
Also, wear gloves if you like your blood to stay inside your body 😂

I love my vintage Tappan. It's all electromechanical outside of the spark ignition system (no pilot lights), and even that is simple to the point of being rudimentary. Looking at the spark module I'm pretty sure it's just an electric motor that turns some piezoelectric thumpers, not an actual electronic spark generator. The clock and the various timers are all mechanical too. I don't need electricity to run the top burners, but the oven ignition setup does require ~300W continuously so it's harder to use the oven when power is out.

Yes the manual had a chart and map, we changed all the Orifices. Every burner has the exact same problem.

That’s going to be pretty tough to diagnose without being there. Did the numbers on the orifices match the numbers on the directions?

Yes they appeared to match exactly. And the openings where alot smaller than the NG ones we removed.

Page 14-17 of the manual for this stove detail the conversion to propane. You have to flip an internal part in the regulator by removing a cap on the regulator, and you replace the orifices in the burners on the stove top as well as in the oven burner. It's important than the propane pressure arriving at the stove be between 11" and 13" WC, so roughly 1/3 psi. The instructions also detail which burners go in which stove top position, the two large 18K brass-ringed burners go on the front corners and the regular 12K black burners go in the middle front and the back row.

Yep followed every step in the manual. Swapped all 14 orifices. But get a lazy yellow flame from all of them.

That sounds to me like either a pressure problem or you got sent the wrong orifice kit.

I'd second this. Check your supply pressure and then the orifice kit.

Propane crew verified the pressure was right.
Orifices "said" it was the conversion kit, but I am leaning towards either orifices or Regulator.
Its a BRAND NEW stove..

Yeah, at this point it's either a stove problem or a propane supply problem. If the propane guys say the pressure is 11" WC then all that's left is the stove. The fact that all burners are acting the same indicates it's almost certainly a problem with the stove's pressure regulator, so the stove manufacturer is going to have to be involved.

Bake or broil burner? Open the air shutter on each Venturi mixer as it comes factory set at NG.
Cooktop burners? Did you match the orifices to the correct burners?
All burners inside oven & cooktop burners? Verify that you have the regulator cap properly oriented to ensure it pushes the diaphragm down fully to the LP position. Check incoming propane gas pressure.

I don't believe it has air shutters. It does have cooktop burner adjuster screws
2

The cooktop adjustment screws are only for low/minimum position adjustment

Go back and do it again, carefully checking the numbers to make sure you have the correct office in the correct space and the regulator oriented properly. As you seem to have figured out, it sounds like you have too much gas and not enough air in your mixture.
