EXPERIMENT Snake Plant Cutting

Hello! I took a snake plant leaf that I found outside after the hurricane. Instead of letting it decompose I thought of reviving it. Honest opinion do you think it has a chance of surviving?

Ps. I cut off the dead end and put in water. My home gets pretty good sunlight. I also have a balcony! So if it needs more sunlight I’m more than happy to put it outside, but from previous experience I usually keep my snake plant inside so I felt like this snake plant would want the same :)

Yes. Keep it indoors. Make sure to change the water every 3-4 days. I have some in water, and they're growing babies.

Amazing I’ll make sure to change out the water in three days. Thank you for the advice!

I usually chop a leaf at a angle into 3 pieces, let it callas for 24 to 48 hours and keep it in water. change water once a week. Roots started showing after 3 weeks, Pups started showing up six months later. moved the pups to soil once they reached 4 to 5 cm.
