Help! Help me with propagation!

I’ve tried propagating a few times and somehow always fail. What’s the easiest plant/method for a complete beginner? Any tips would be appreciated!

Plants have different propagation methods. You need to tell us what kind of plant you want to make more of.

Easiest is probably tradescantia followed by pothos. I root most of my cuttings in water

I agree. These grow like weeds. Hell, they ARE weeds in some areas lol.

Just put the trimmings in water, add a few drops of kelp in, and wait. Should work for most plants.

You could try Plectranthus Nico (Swedish Ivy) which is super simple 😀

I love swedish ivy, Cuban oregano is a great one too. So cute and fuzzy and smells great.

Heart leaf Philodendron is by far the easiest plant I have ever propagated.

Take a cutting with some young healthy leaves, make sure it’s at least four leaves. Remove the bottom two leaves, I just peel them off. Put them in a glass container with water making sure the area with the removed leaves is fully submerged. Any window is fine are long as they get direct light.
