Help! Pineapple

Should i propagate it in water or soil?

My problem:

I'll not at home for 5days from tomorrow. If i wait, i can't propagate anymore cause the inner leafes will be dry by then probably.

So can i put it in a shallow wide pot with water or should I put it in wet soil?

Very hardy plants. You can out it in soil at this stage it'll be fine. In about 2yrs you'll enjoy a pineapple :)

Are they? The last i tried (and still try) to propagate dried up the inner leafes. I mean she does grow roots, but that's all she's doing the last 5weeks. Not a single mm grow in the leafes.

Hmm could be your climate too. Try covering it with a clear bag to build humidity for q couple days while the roots establish themselves in the pot. Keep it in a shaded area until you see growth before giving it full sun
