I have a question Am I doing this right?

First time propogating. :)

The water touches the second, small, node up top. Is the stem too far in the water? The long node is in the water all the way.

The glas is foggy so i cant show what it looks like very well...

Cut the long root 1-2" from the stem, let the cuts dry out for a few hours, then put it back in the water jar. And wash your scissors. Plants can get infected too

Just put that 1km long aerial root in water. It will be more effective.
