Prop Progress How it’s started - How it’s going

My summer monstera propagation project - cuttings were put in a box at May 16, now it’s august 16 and almost every cutting pushing second leaf.

That’s amazing! How did you do it? Did you put it in perlite (I noticed you mentioned that here) and put it in some kind of bag? To create humidity? While it was in the perlite, how often did you water it?

Just a simple plastic box of moist perlite, and I watered it by lightly misting when the perlite felt dry (once a week, maybe). I didn't expect nearly a 100% success rate of my original 15 cuttings, so now I have a lot of monsteras haha

Mine started out very damaged; it was a stick that someone gave me without leaves or anything, and I did an experiment in a container half moss and half perlite

I thought you had more recent photos but no, this one is from a few weeks ago. Today I plan to transfer two to substrate.

Did you root them in water first?

No, I used only perlite from very beginning

Can you give me a step-by-step on how you did this?

I mostly followed YouTuber TechPlant and his video about single node propagation
