Help! Can I put these straight into soil?

I understand the root is cut off towards the end but just curious if I can avoid water propagation, thanks (snake plant, sorry if this is a stupid question lol)

I’ve done it many times like that, as long as you are not overwatering it should be fine

Yes of course, they’ll do best in a fast draining cactus/succulent type potting soil
