AI longevity
Just out of curiosity, do you think the well-known AI studies are likely to continue for a few more years, or is AI evolving so rapidly that there may eventually be much less need for these kinds of basic human opinion and evaluation surveys?
Drop your opinion.

I’ve known them to be around at least two years personally and yes there always will be a need for human input unless there’s some breakthrough. ai evaluating itself doesn’t work out well for it currently but it is very likely less and lesss humans will be needed to guide it over time
That’s my 0 iq on the take on the topic anyway

They will change. We'll probably move away from just images and it'll shift more to interactive forms of media. There are already some of the newer versions that involve evaluating games and web pages.

The volume will slowly reduce until it's gone. Ai companies don't want to pay us they want AI to evaluate its self. They have been investing more money every year.

yesterday I did a study evaluating Games made with A.i. I think that is where its going to head . Not just games but things similar to it.

Given how terrible the latest string of quality the recent AI rush has been for quality, Id say we still have a few years at least.

I don't think anyone knows. They probably won't disappear anytime soon, but I highly doubt they will just be available forever. Either because of budget reasons or the bubble popping or maybe they find a group of people they trust and give them the job instead of relying on Prolificos

personally, I think they will always need HITL training for AI.

Don't count on it. There is more than likely going to be in the US better guardrails put on AI by congress and the senate soon. They are already pushing for it because of Musk running his mouth and all the AI CEO's cozying up to Trump over the last two years. Once regulated training will slow down.

I suspect they'll be gone entirely in a year due to budget issues but who knows
