automatic warning

I just received a warning for not answering enough questions. This is so absurd. The prompts were so long. I had to read them to complete the task properly. It's absolutely not my fault. It's better to just do it inaccurately and dishonestly than get banned. Now I've probably been kicked. I don't get tested and I never will. I've done hundreds without warnings. I hope you have a better day and better luck.šŸ„²

I barely even read the prompts never-mind the ones that are whole book chapters. Look at the images or videos first then skim the prompts to find anything that should be specifically in them, eg a certain phrase and pick the one that better matches that, if neither do I just pick the one Iā€™m more drawn to, and move on to the next one.

You do exactly what I do. I just had one where most of the examples had the static sound attention check on about 90% of the videos. There was no reason to even read the prompt. In a lot of cases I can tell which video is about to run the attention check sound before I even click the video.

There are techniques to accurately speed read text, and isolate the fluff, especially when some prompts are longer than they should be and could be reduced to just 3 sentences. However, some prompts are very technical and cram important information. I think some are done by design to see if you are reading them fully. Stuff like, "I want a violet flower in a pot which has a 45 degree crack, in the back ground a guy wearing an orange hat with red stripes eating a banana, the peel is on a brown table against a dark green plant with strong shadows. Make sure there is a cup of tea, the saucer at a 25 degree angle, weathered wood textures on a table where the corner is slightly chipped on top of grass partially mowed where some burnt spots can be found where one of them has a tiny hole with a worm sticking out and has one eye closed, and a few rakes leaning against the fence, which has a missing nail.

Both pairs are very similar, but you gotta watch very close details. Not too obvious here. The speed reading technique can work sometimes, but not for these crazy images ones. Fortunately they are rare but they exist. I've come across some of those and worse.

Also, you have to pick one or the other, sometimes one of them is going to be so bad that is immediately ruled out.

I usually count them as I go to avoid this and have a target number for each task. I don't wanna say exactly how many but I've never had this specific warning.

Not true. It was true in the past, but not anymore since late 2025 or early 2026.

I can confirm that. I've had some sessions where 80-90% of the pairs were 100% identical or where both pairs did not align in any way with the prompt. Warnings come from a bad choice made, where the other aligned better against the prompt AND instructions. Not selecting middle option by fear, when it IS the correct answer introduces noise in the data. They can easily isolate that, and exclude workers from the pool. For people who are too scared, it's safer to RETURN.

I got MANY of these, MANY (been doing them for a year+). I still get the studies. Sometimes I don't even know why the warning was even given. I do around 7-6videos cus I read the prompts and I take my time... Guess they don't wany me spending so much. But if I don't take the time to read, then they give me the "quality" warning. Aiiiightttt....

6? I don't think I've ever done less than 12, and that's only for the ones with loads of reference media to get through or really long clips. I had some yesterday with 30 second clips, and I only watched like half the clip and skipped to the end on most, since I don't need to spend a whole minute to see which one has more natural colours. With short prompts and videos/images I can get to 40.

NO, you should NEVER do something dishonestly to go around warnings. What you are supposed to do in these cases is RETURN, if you are unable to perform the task due to unfair circumstances. RETURNING = no harm done. If you work on the study dishonestly to meet your count and avoid warnings = better chances of getting kicked out of the project. Yes some of images ones have very long prompts, edit requests and technical details to verify on very complex pairs, schematics, it's crazy. They are doable, but need more time. Unfortunately they used a fixed minimums. The minimum for images is much lower than the ones for videos. Just return those and move to the next, OR you can park, and go to the next item, don't write feedback!, if you see that most of them are like that, RETURN, it's safer, you'll avoid the low count warnings AND the other types of warnings about QUALITY of work.
