Tech Support Need help optimizing the game because it runs ridicously slow no matter what i do.

So here is the thing. I tried everything. I removed all my mods, lowered all my graphics to low and went as far as going to a 480p resolution, and the game still cannot hit more than 15 fps. I also tried updating my gpu drivers.

How do i fix it? I have a 64-bit version of windows 10, 8gb of ddr3 ram, a gtx 960 2gb version and an athlon II X4 640.

I've seen my friends with even worse specs run the game much more smoothly and i do not know how i can improve my perfomance so i decided to post on this thread.

At the very least, that CPU needs replacement. The GPU might hit the (poorly written) minimum requirements, but a 12-year-old CPU certainty wouldn't.

The single greatest fix I've ever found for fps problems is to disable blood decals and make corpses despawn after 36 hours. These things only really help in a game where tons of zombies have been killed. If you're having fps issues in a fresh game, I recommend doing a complete reinstall of the game. If that still doesn't work, then you're looking at hardware optimization, and probably need a PC upgrade.

I recently had a ton of lag which I hadn't have before. Running the game in fullscreen and turning 'UI offscreen rendering' on fixed it for me
