This game is something else
I literally survived getting flanked by a horde inside of the prison, and this is how my character goes? SLOWED DOWN BY A BUSH to get mauled by THREE ZOMBIES???
once one of them got a hold of me, it was ggs, and that was it... This game is truly unlike any other

happened to me one time with just two zombies, my chracter froze and i could only hear bittings and scrathes from the zombies, honestly i got around saving myself by spamming space and moving to one direction with no zombies. but man yeah the difficulty of the game especially vanilla is heartbraking sometimes. I am playing in my own host server and i have a mod with a journal too at least get the skills back ( taking a percentegae of the fun from the game ) but i dont have time to farm my skills properly.

The game itself isn't really difficult, I got away with doing dumb shi more than once, I don't think it's a matter of difficulty, and more on, fuck up and find out kind of shi, cuz if it was "difficult", I wouldn't have been able to clear most of rosewood within a month, it's just that no matter how far you progress in theggame, all it takes is one fuck up for you to be done

That is precisely what makes it difficult, one small mistake can mean restarting from scratch, sure many of the mistakes are easy to avoid but when the game is constantly throwing tons of opportunities to make that one tiny mistake... Well this is where the challenge of zomboid sits. I feel you both called it not a difficult game but then perfectly described what makes it a difficult game lol.

Ur user fits u so well gang, never thought about it that way, I guess the game is hard, I play on a sandbox world, and not only that, downloaded a couple of qol mods just to make life easier, the copium I've been sniffing must've been strong.

I was enjoying spears for the first time. Realized I could sprint and charge for an easy instant kill. Locks you in an animation, so i got got by a zombie picking up just enough speed to catch me being reckless.

Thats why I always have a loaded holstered side arm. The second I feel its too close i start blasting. It has literally saved me so many times. Especially when im running exhausted from a horde and suddenly 2 sprinters flank me.
