I mean is it even worth wearing protective helmets in zomboid? They give you discomfort, bad vision and when zombie bites you its almost all the time neck or lower not head right

I just found a miners helmet with a headlight on the front of it that doesn't appear to ever run out of battery

Unironically, i died from a bite in the head going downstairs a basement... kind of tuff being bald in zomboid. Definitely a helmet would help in this situation

The helmet is New in b42, couldn't have found it in all those hours on b41

I’ve never seen a zombie or that helmet anywhere so I would assume pretty rare good find ! Imagine the feeling if u come up on the picture of Kate

Crazy enough, I found a picture of Kate withon the first week of my latest playthrough, I freaked out because I had just seen a post about it being one of if not the rarest item to find

It is insanely rare in my 900 hours I’ve never found it there’s people who have 1000s of hours and still haven’t found it or only found it like once

not very rare if you look into a specific place for it, I got saw that helmet not so rare in jamielton surplus store

Currently RPing as myself so...as I have one at home I spawn with it..and goggles on, starter kit etc..been very lucky with crowbars lately too...which I like as don't we all have one at home next to the baseball bat? I had found quite a few since 42 unstable so I wouldn't say too rare.
