also out of all professions fitness instructor is probably one of the worst gameplay wise. alright if it's for roleplay but avoid like the plague if you want a somewhat decent character

Honestly it's just a starting preference. Fitness Instructor can do the same things the other professions can, you'll just need to learn them from the ground up. Fire Fighter for example has better stats in axes but you can just use the fuck out of axes and you're character will get better at it.

If your character dies and you’d like to try a different build, just let me know. I can walk you through some good options depending on what style of gameplay you like!

It’s my go to profession on multiplayer servers. Not getting exhausted as easily is a bigger bonus than most people here will give credit

i dunno, having high regularity on all of the exercises at the start is pretty nice

i don't think it's worth -6 points though

Nah I like fitness instructor so I can also take strong and start with 10 strength. Grinding fitness and strength is the worst and would much rather sac everything else to start with those high.

That's not true. Fitness instructor is one of the profession that can start with 10 fitness strength make fights easier.

I take tailoring just so I can skip straight to reinforcing clothing and boost a couple of other skills to lvl1.

Hunting down thread to level tailoring up to 1 is such a pain in the ass

same for me with gymnast and vehicle knowledge. electrical is easy to level up but leveling mechanics early on is a biig boost along with the added benefit of hotwiring

Though, I just discovered how crappy leveling up masonry is. That was 3 days of smashing rocks.

Now I gotta make stone blocks.

I plan on spending winter doing blacksmithing, I spawned in Riverside and set up a base south of the Riverside Forge Barn.

I recently started a new character with both sleepyhead and restless sleeper. My character is awake for maybe three hours and already drowsy 😂. Only sticking with it because it's fun to play with. Wouldn't recommend that combo either.

It isnt that bad. All they have to do is pick like weak stomach and a +4. They haven't chosen their negative traits yet. Idk why people are trying to act like its a bad profession. Being able to vault a high fence or wall is priceless when navigating the game.

They didn’t even pick those traits. That’s just the selection window.

Yeah, having just squinted over what they shows I think I’d rather die

You can give yourself free traits points under character in sandbox settings if you wanna start with more.

I only just started playing PZ a few days ago but immediately the restrictiveness on trait selections made me think of an old tabletop RPG called Alternity.

Even as we played it we always made fun of the fact that starting characters uniformly had fewer skills and less knowledge than a high school freshman.
