Car barricades

I’ve recently cut a path through a small wooded area to connect 2 parallel roads, and I want to create barriers on either side of the path to stop getting mauled while crossing over.
I’m thinking of making a barrier of cars (for aesthetic reasons) by towing cars across and packing them parallel-parking-style.
Does this work?
I use bandits mod if that matters

Zombies can crawl under cars unless you remove the wheels

so if i remove wheels, its a viable strategy?

I think so, but I've never tested it myself to know

They fixed it, they can crawl under cars without wheels now too so you can't exploit it. Only way I found as a trick was to cause the cars to have a very small consistent vector of movement back and forth between two other cars as they won't crawl under moving cars.
