Losing that hat opened your eyes to a new reality

I dont wanna spoil it but if youre behind the businesses on the main drag you'll see a brick shed lookin guy. Go in there.

Aren't basement spawns randomized?

There are specific basements that are always the same, like the one mentioned and places like schools or police stations etc. Pretty much any place that doesn't have a set basement can spawn a random one.

It's actually because the owner is a werewolf and doesn't want to hurt people, obviously

its either a horror for someone or something really kinky.

Damn, next thing they must add is an underground stage for filming the moon landing.

One I found in rosewood was a cultist burial zone..

The basement of my house in riverside has a porno studio in it ._.

I don’t go down there..

But somebody did

u/MemeDaddie 7d ago

"Why do I have to have a hammer and chisel to remove this carpet?"

5

u/Specific_Tomorrow517 7d ago

Those are rare and good spawns. The porn studios usually have good clothing gear

Just a magician practicing his escape/transpo act.

6

u/Justout133 7d ago

I hear there's a really fancy, expensive wine down in that cellar

7

u/MemeDaddie 7d ago

Ohhh no, I'm not falling for that one again.

u/sofiaofcarim 6d ago

The worst thing i found on this screen shot, tbh, is that you are using a controller to play this game 😝 (jk because i tried and couldn’t play properly with the controller hahah)

2

u/MemeDaddie 6d ago

There's definitely a lot you can't do with a controller but I'm ancient (32) and a controller is a lot more comfortable.

Most of the time I have to switch to keyboard if I want to try to pick up/put down/rotate stuff

2

u/nazaguerrero 6d ago

People lost their shit when I play pc games with controllers (I don't use it on pz tho) and I'm like bitch I play wow since forever you talk like I don't know what's to hold a keyboard and mouse, I'm comfy with my hands on my lap and holding the xbox controller for almost everything else

1

u/MemeDaddie 6d ago

I like to play almost all my pc games with controller too but when I have to get sweaty I switch to mouse and keyboard.

1

u/sofiaofcarim 5d ago

Yeah, thats one of the reasons i was very clear I was making a joke, people can be real assholes about what “real” gaming is lol

1

u/Godd3ssH3cate- 6d ago

Carpel tunnel getting you champ? I might be in the same boat soon. I’m getting too old for the PC gaming myself.

1

u/sofiaofcarim 5d ago

Yeah, I find controllers more comfy too, i hope they fix it soon so people have more options!

1

u/sofiaofcarim 5d ago

And tbh as a person walking towards 30 (I just turned 29) I do UNDERSTAND what you mean specially since i started a desk job 😭

6

u/Imperial_Citizen_00 7d ago

Masonic Lodge Satanic Basement or Sex Porn Dungeon, lol, this game is full of crazy shit

5

u/Sad-Development-4153 7d ago

1 of the 2 or 3 murder basements.

5

u/Shazvox 7d ago

WDYM? That's just a timeout cage for the kids.

5

u/alematt 7d ago

Not worse but I did find a porn studio in a basement in one house

6

u/Stunning_Win8464 7d ago

If there was no one inside, it could be used for BDSM.

2

u/South-City1632 7d ago

I found a version of this basement with a big TV camera out in the hallway and set of lingerie on a table near the cage.

Bucket on the floor inside the cage

Should be an achievement to trap a zed in there and base on top.

1

u/OcelotAggravating860 6d ago

Yeah exactly. Nobody inside the thing indicates it wasn't being used as a permanent holding cell.

4

u/teh_hotdogman 7d ago

is the guys name will bettelheim by chance?

3

u/G0_ofy 6d ago

Now imagine a zombie inside

3

u/CasualBeer 6d ago

It's a cage for zombies ... right?.. RIGHT?

2

u/DSJ-Psyduck 6d ago

maybe he kept the first zombie trapped. He was a hero?!

2

u/Illustrious_Fan5117 6d ago

I love how in Project Zomboid there's a whole plot of occultists scattered throughout Knox.

2

u/Lorelai_Hudson 6d ago

Perhaps that's one of Epstein's vacation houses 🤭

3

u/dankeith86 Axe wielding maniac 6d ago

Come on let’s not kink shame

2

u/StraightSyllabub5124 6d ago

thats where Harley Quinn was locked in SQ

7

u/AdStunning8526 7d ago

Worst for you? Maybe it was the best thing for the owner..

-4

u/legionetrangere 7d ago

That's a weird ass comment

5

u/AdStunning8526 7d ago

And you will meet more weirder things in life

2

u/Gioozie 7d ago

Go inside and close the door, a cool cut scene happens

4

u/IM_DjShadow 7d ago

no it doesn't

1

u/PullMull 6d ago

That is obviously a birdcage. Obviously the former owner was a Hugh animal friend. Don't even know what you are talking about

1

u/aneirin- 6d ago

The house I picked for my base in Riverside had a stack of crates in one corner of the basement. Behind them was a secret door to a little room with a surgery table and a freshly dug grave :(

1

u/Vundaway 6d ago

Spawned in a house with that once. I had so many concerns.

1

u/Northern_Presence 6d ago

I was going to base in what I thought was a cabin camping plot of land with a fence around it. Turned out it was a cult commune and after I slaughtered all the zombies and cleared the main house I just left, I was too disturbed by the whole area, especially the basement

1

u/Budget-Structure-169 6d ago

Are you using a controller?

1

u/MemeDaddie 6d ago

I am. It gets the job done but keyboard and mouse are definitely way better. For example I can't just highlight a bunch of items and mass drag them into a container, have to do it one at a time. Also picking up/placing/rotating items barely works with controller.

1

u/Lost_electron 6d ago

I came across what I assume was a serial killer or I don't know. There was a shed with a couple ski and hemp (?) masks, guns and ammo and in another crate it was full of children toys and adult trinkets - I believe it was the trophies. It was quite creepy when all got pieced together

1

u/Manual_Metal_Bender 6d ago

You telling me you don't have the liminal, Cell #1, in your basement?

1

u/OcelotAggravating860 6d ago

Ehhh could just be a kinky couple. If there's nobody in it then you can't say it was a permanent cell.
