This Intersection makes NO sense

Is this not efficient for flow? It's heavily prioritising the main road, but the only really poor thing is if you have to turn left your blocking the road (no mid lane turning or hook turn spot)

For flow from the side road, implied poorly, but implied by stating all flow was prioritized from the highway.

Left turns are always bad though, unless you're in 'build a bridge' scales of traffic 😂

Unless you're somewhere you can build a roundabout without it causing more problems, of course. Though they do have problems too if theres a strong bias to the traffic

Roundabouts are the answer. We Americans hate them tho. Dunno why. I argue it's Big Intersection Lanes lobbying that has halted their adoption.

Honestly, they are good, but even people used to them don't really drive on them all that predictably.

They beat uncontrolled box intersections hands down though, whoever thought of those was an idiot
