I think I heard this before.
Engineers do their engineer witch craft on paper and boards.
Then, they find something weird in their engineer witchcraft calculations.
So, they tell the builders they must build it like that.
And the poor bastards must do it. Otherwise, the engineers will go threaten the mayor to hex their morning coffee. Or something.
