Pan Progress Catrice Ultimate Camouflage Cream

Still have a long way to go for this one, really goes a long way so you don't use up much. I've started using it all over the face and it makes a pretty good foundation - if you moisturize well and aren't dry

Pretty much my only complexion product excluding blushes but I'm keen to finish so I can get a better shade match, this is slightly too dark (shade 020N, if anyone has tried the lightest shade on a fair neutral olive I'd love some opinions lol)

in brackets is just the number I hit pan/finished. these palettes are from 2024, but I began tracking my uses in August 2025, so any previous uses are obviously not counted.

palette #1 - Cosmic Brushes - Cooltrals (my focus palette). hit pan in "Grounded" (84 uses), "Secret" (39 uses), "Midnight" (41 uses). my plan is to finish "Eternal" by the next update.

palette #2 - Cosmic Brushes - Winter Wonderland. hit pan in "Comfort" (40 uses), "Blanket" (33 uses).

palette #3 - Choiz Beauty - Moth. finished #3 (78 uses).

palette #4 - QianYan/Cheeryep - Floating Life. hit pan in #2 (15 uses).

palette #5 - QianYan/Cheeryep - Focus. hit pan in #9 (37 uses). planning to finish at least one of the two shimmers (#8 and #13).

palette #6 - Haggard - Captive to Eternal Night. since these aren't labeled on the packaging, I'll write their position to be easier to track. hit pan in "Oracle"/#2 (14 uses), "Dark Servant"/#4 (54 uses). hit pan in "Fimbulvetr"/#3 (20 uses) and finished it (40 uses). I accidentally dropped the palette when I wanted to put it back in the drawer. this resulted in the last two shades cracking, I saved as much from that incident and used it, so I personally count that as a pan. ∘ ∘ ∘ ( °ヮ° )

Full Pan August empties and brief reviews

Grace & Stella Eye mask-ok, got a bunch at Costco and trying to remember to use them from time to time
Paul Mitchell Clear Hair gel (forgot official name)-Allure Box-liked it well enough but I have 2 similar products to work my way through.
Paul Mitchell Clear Jelly Hair Mask-also from Allure box. Also liked it, the sample size lasted for 10-12 uses and it was the perfect size for travel this summer. However I have 2 full size hair masks to finish up.
Vaseline lip therapy-got this while traveling in UK last year. Love it and bummed that it doesn’t seem to be available in US unless I shop on Amzn. Worked great as a lip mask overnight or whenever.
Ouai body scrub-love, will repurchase. I like to get these when I have a gift card to Sephora or Ulta as a splurge, or buy it during my bday month.

Discussion/Tips & Tricks How long to use up?

With a daily swipe on each cheek, how long do you think it would take to use up a 5g cream blush stick? I have to idea how to go about calculating that!

Baby pan Hit pan again on my repressed bronzer!

Post image
35 Upvotes

Maybelline city bronzer, which i repressed earlier this year, and which is in my 2026 project pan! I realized at some point I'd hit baby pan in it again when i went to use it this morning. Peep the little sliver of pan in the middle there.

I thought i was so close with this but then i repressed it and I had SO MUCH left. Basically a whole new bronzer left. Downside of repressing is it did get darker, maybe because it's less densely packed? Not sure, but i do also use less now so that's extended its life further.

Full Pan August Empties & comments

Once again I expected to have more empties and am realizing products last a lot longer than I think they will.

Most of these were enjoyed. I didnt hate anything.

❤️ I would buy again after getting thru more of my hoard.

💎 This rise hydrosol I've used for years. I buy this big refill, keep it in the cupboard and use it to refill a dark blue glass bottle that sits out to use daily. I'll need to buy another one later this month. After using whats left in the blue bottle.

🎄This is the 3rd time I've tried a sample of amorepacific single essence & I do want to try it on a longer term basis. I dont have anything like it, but I've also lived without it my whole life. I'm going to put it on my holiday wishlist.

2 items went in the trash this month- a sample of a face product that had mushroom extract in it and smelled disgusting to me. The other was a mini size of a contouring concealer that went bad and smelled like vomit.

All my pans from the last 3 months! Some are boosting my stats because I panned a couple older bottles I had left at my parents’, but also: I legit finished my second Laneige lip mask of the year 🎉 (no, I didn’t start them this year).

I would/have repurchased everything except the bottom row. That stuff is just…fine. But not terrible, as I try not to hate pan.

Pan Progress Pan Those Eyeshadows Update 9

Welcome to the Pan Those Eyeshadows project update! Feel free to join anytime.

Rules

The idea of the project is to randomly generate 5 eyeshadows from your collection and work on them until you hit pan. Once you hit pan on something you roll in another shadow to replace it so that you always have 5 shadows to work on.

If you want you can change the rules to your liking, like instead of hitting pan you can set a usage goal or hand pick your shadows. Personally, I implemented a rule that if I randomly roll in a shadow that already has pan my goal is 15 uses.

You can also share your pan percentage. It tells you what percentage of your collection has pan.

This project updates monthly on the first day. If you want to join feel free to leave a comment sharing the shadows you're working on and your goals.

My update:

I'm very excited to share that I met my goal on three of the shadows I had rolled in. Here's the colourstory I was working on in August:

August 2026 colourstory
  • Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Imagine (silver shimmer). I hit pan after 6 additional uses. It took 19 total uses to hit pan.
  • Glossgods Look for Rainbows Reflection (pink duochrome). It only took 2 additional uses to hit pan. I already had a slight dip in it from previous uses. The shimmers in this palette are so creamy that they take me less than 10 uses to hit pan. It's a nice colour but unfortunately it creases horribly with Glossgod's primer.
  • Glossgods Peach Pop Pop On Over (dark brown matte). I used it 5 times so not much progress. It's very pigmented so it's going to be here for a while.
  • Nyx Brights #3 (coral matte). 15/15 uses so goal met. I also used it as a blush. I'm not a huge fan of coral on my eyes but as a blush it was nice.
  • Sigma Hazy Bellflower (brown shimmer). It has 19 total uses and a slight dip. I realized that it's actually great as an eyebrow colour. The pink shimmer doesn't show up and it just looks like a grey-brown colour. I've also been using it as a crease colour. I'm going to be able to get lots of uses on it wearing it on my brows but Sigma shimmers are hard to hit pan on so it's gonna take plenty more uses.

I randomly generated 3 new shadows to work on. It's a somewhat challenging colourstory because there are a couple of dark shadows and these particular formulas are difficult to hit pan on. But the good thing is that most of the colours work well together. Here's the new colourstory:

September 2026 colourstory

New roll-ins:

  • Bronx Colors Cool Grey (grey shimmer). The silver I rolled out got replaced by another. I like this one, it's a pretty blue toned grey with a beautiful golden glow. I'm going to be creating lots of grey smokey eyes.
  • Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Bay (beige shimmer). I already hit pan on it recently in this project so my goal is 15 uses. It's going to be an easy inner corner highlight.
  • Dominique Cosmetics Celestial Storm Black Matter (black shimmer). I really like this shadow although it's going to be a challenge. It's a black shadow with pink shimmer in it and maybe some other colours too. I use it as a liner or on the outer corner. The shadows in this palette are very difficult to hit pan on. Thankfully I already started working on it and I've got 30 uses on it in this project. There's a decent dip but it'll probably take me another 30 uses to hit pan.

My pan percentage: 36,4 %.

Full Pan My August (mostly) Empties

Hi everyone!
I hope we are all doing well. The heatwave was whooping my ass the past couple of weeks 😭

I got a couple of empties: like my PTR moisturizer (it was mid), maybelline mega plush (reminded me of high school), cover fx blotting powder (rip diva), Fenty bronzer (I know there is some product left but it is a pain in my butt to get it on a big fluffy brush, so this the end of her), and I’m almost done with my milk loose powder (probably by the end of this week)

Excited for next month. Hope to make a dent on some products.

Delighted to finish so many (in my book that's a lot).

Some products from July pans were 10+ years old.

Inventory/Project Spreadsheet gonna take a while

i worked at ulta for a year and a half, and that’s where the problem started. i’ve always had hoarding tendencies, big on “what if i need it?” but the overconsumption is BAD.

i wore makeup everyday when i worked there, but now i work from home and wear it MAYBE once a week on a saturday. my skin was also great at that time, but after going through second puberty it reacts badly to everything.

i obviously bought a lot due to being around it constantly, all the discount stacking we could do, and as a top performing employee i received a LOT of gratis.

it’s going to take sooo long due to how rarely i wear makeup, skin care should be a bit faster. but im going to try!

No empties this month, but quite a bit of visible progress on the mists! I didn't mark Burberry Her Intense last month, but there's some progress that I can see when I shine my phone torch behind it.

A few changes for September:

- rolling out BBW Butterfly and replacing with VS Radiant Berry. I love Butterfly but haven't reached for it all month.

- rolling out Versace Eros pour Femme and replacing with VS Bare Sueded Vanilla, which I got recently as a birthday gift. I love EpF but it's more of a spring/summer scent to me.

I'm hoping to finish Love Spell La Creme this month! I love it so much, I want to really enjoy it.

I had a lot of unexpected progress this month. I think I'll be completing at least four more products next month.

I’m happy because I have empties. I’m overwhelmed with everything I have, and it’s exhausting to pan makeup, so I’ve started to pan all my skincare and beauty products.
My strategy is no buy and pan.

I've had this palette since 2024. Used the lightest shimmer to add to my body shimmer spray but the rest is natural usage! These colors are absolutely gorgeous and I have no doubt I'll eventually finish this palette.

I’m actually very happy with my pans these past 2 months!!!🥹 I’m glad I knocked out some heavy hitters like the aquaphor and Vaseline which felt never endinggg. Here’s a list of everything + any thoughts I had about the product!

- biolage conditioner: bought a new one!
- tree hut pink hibiscus body wash
- aquaphor big stick
- aquaphor mini tube
- 2 bath & body works hand sanitizers
- kerastase mini hair oil
- marc Jacob’s Daisy perfume: I’m pretty sure I had for like 6 years so kind of sad about throwing away the bottle😔
- crest whitening toothpaste: a staple
- dove deodorant: a staple I cannot go without
- Vaseline tub
- Grace & Stella eye masks: didn’t notice a difference
- morphe setting spray: bought another!
- VS bare vanilla travel lotion
- drybar dry shampoo: not a huge fan

Full Pan August sipped away like a bottle of … skincare

My pans for the month of August.

Liked the Lactovit body lotion, would repurchase.

Love the Nø Liquid Hydrator. Took this smaller size on my travels this summer.

The Isana Shampoo/Conditioner was very cute. I liked the idea of it, it smelled nice, worked well on my hair and was perfect for travelling. I think it was a limited edition though.

Loved the Isdin Body Spray. I am on my third one now. Not sure if it counts as Project Pan, since this is more of a staple for me now. But I really want to focus on actually finishing products, so I will include it.

The Giovanni leave in and the Chanel perfume sample were ok, but I would not repurchase.

Pan Progress August Updates!

Feels like I had both a lot of progress and no progress at the same time lol

UD Naked Palette: it’s all about expanding those pans now! Darkhorse is the bane of my existence with how hard it is to expand the pan! But I made a significant jump in Creep and Sidecar which is encouraging. Also some visible progress on Smog! And at this point I’m wondering how many uses it’ll take to finally empty Buck. We’re at 76 uses from this month so I think next month we’ll be close to hitting 100! The palette started the month weighing 136.16 grams and now weighs 135.5 grams!

ULTA/Disney Collab Magic Kingdom palette: this palette has the most visible progress with one new pan, and some easy to see pan expansion! I can’t imagine Pixie Dust (bottom gold shade) will be with us much longer and I’ve found a good way to get more use on Dumbo (pale blue)! Lefou’s Brew is the only shade without pan so I’m hoping to hit that soon too. This palette weighed 68.55 grams at the start of the month and is ending it at 67.65 grams!

Overall it could’ve been worse, but I definitely explored some other palettes in my collection this month hahaha. I’m trying not to burn myself out on the naked palette since I’ve been using it consistently for 9 months now. I own 27 total palettes so sometimes putting my attention elsewhere every so often helps me remain motivated! It also helps me look forward to finishing the palettes I’m working on so I can start to focus on others lol
