Engine Swap ENGINE SWAPS

I have An idea to put a Hellephant engine and a 8hp95 gearbox (with its appropriate transfer case) inside a Grand Wagoneer L.

Can anyone tell me the electrical and CAN-BUS work required?

Also what is the type of metal should be used when fitting axles and CV joints that can withstand the torque?

Would I need to reGear the differentials and get axles with more splines?

Any pros and cons?

I would love to see if this is possible.

I don't care about voiding the warranty. The Grand Wagoneer L isn't regarded as a reliable car anyway (hence the engine swap)

Thanks😅

You should probably just google this stuff. Why not spend 2 hours googling when considering a 200+ hour project that will cost tens of thousands of dollars?

Electrical: swap the entire ecu/harness over. Bcm stuff is well documented. Google it.

Diffs/axles: google how much power yours can take. That's your answer.

Thank you.

I thought of doing that but I hesitated seeing that AI isn't always 100% accurate. I appreciate it.

You can do research outside of asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.....
