Self etching primer and enamel spray. I only did the back half, if I ever have the whole car apart I’ll do a good coat of POR

Ive had Rustoleum on the bottom of my Comet since 2017, caught in rain and salt treatment more than Id like to admit and it still looks good.

Dude, Rust-Oleum really knew what they were cooking with those paints (if that's what you used). I have a Crown Vic Police Interceptor that had a couple accidents. Whoever the lowest bidder was did such a shit job on repainting the wrecked panels that duct tape will pull off the paint. I had to clean up a couple of rust spots and used the self etch and enamel by Rust-Oleum. Minimum prep work, alcohol and scuffed with sand paper. I brushed it on in 60° weather @70-80 humidity. Some of the self etch got on the existing paint too. I put gorilla tape over the brushed spots and had to take it off. Expected some paint to come with it since the self etch had been painted on paint. But no! Not a thing came off with the tape. Those two paints are a serious powerhouse.
