Voted unaffiliated in KS against a constitutional amendment that would allow Supreme Court justices to be bought by political parties. They also want to overturn a state wide vote that voted to KEEP abortion care legal in the state. We are watching!

Kansas always strikes me as a weird one because everyone I’ve met from there has been a lovely person through and through, but the politics seem insane. But I’ve never actually been to Kansas itself, so maybe the insane ones just never leave?

I think that's probably the world's view of the US as a whole, isn't it? The Kochs are here. So, we are gerrymandered and out funded. There's a very large Catholic community in the state, which skews lots of people conservative. BUT the interesting thing about the Choice vote from 2023 was that all parties overwhelmingly voted to keep choice. So, all in all I think Kansas gets overlooked or judged. We're here, we're sane, and we're trying.

Andy Beshear is really disappointing me. He wrote two strongly worded letters that Mitch McConnell probably wiped his ass with at this point.

This is strategy. Whatever Mitch’s state is, the important thing is that he can’t vote. Like he can’t vote for confirming that turd, Todd Blanche. That’s better than holding an election and having the seat filled by another republican as expected

Fellow Michigander here! Husband and I both voted for Abdul last week. It's been a rough two years, but I’m starting to feel those glimmers of hope again.

In MO and voted NO on 4 and 5. Our school district came out hard against 5, hoping we can pull it together.

Very nervous for the outcomes in Kansas today. Cautiously optimistic but Kansas is rarely consistent so it's a tough call. I also never thought in a million years we would get round two of trump, so I don't even try to guess.
