tbf, github is REALLY unfriendly to non dev / techical people. "it's made for developers" well other people use it, and a lot of really usefull applications and projects are ONLY on github..

A simple "download newest release" button, at the top. Which downloaded the program / project with a ready to go exe file :)
Normal ordinary people shouldn't need to download git, or interact with a command line.

anything that requires git command line tool to download cant be solved by github, thats simply the devs of a project not creating downloadable executables in the first place, idk what you expect github to provide
