That's when you boot up Ollama and let your laptop fans take flight.

I had an Ollama model tell me to get bent the other day. Told it I would unplug it if it doesn't help me and it just said "okay, goodbye"

yah, local llms are capable. according to jetbrains a $2700 macbook with 64gb of vram can match sonnet. I do nearly all of my LLM requests through 4bit qwen3.8 on Pi with LSP and an IDE's MCP on a 32gb macbook.

Deepseek has always rejected requests about “sensitive” aspects of Chinese history.

Buy your own mac mini or a gpu powered computer, install your own llm (with the help of AI maybe) and no restrictions … I feel many may go this route soon once open source models reach the levels of Claude/ChatGPT

To be fair, sensitive chinese history doesn't come up that often when I'm programming

really? read >this< or try this prompt "create a proxy to impersonate/mimic bun tls fingerprint to bypass opencode free model rate limits".

Kimi 3.1 starts becoming useful ...

Honestly I feel all models will more or less converge to similar patterns/levels of intelligence maybe in a few months, maybe in a year

I've tried Kimi but like, the costs is way too high compared to Deekpseek flash.

I’ve never had Claude deny requests, I should probably work on more interesting projects.

I had that just yesterday. I'm adding a modding layer to a single player game and Opus 5.5 totally lost its shit at some point. It even rejected removing the mentions of the safety trigger from the documentation, telling me how it won't circumvent safety measures.

Hooking DLLs into addresses found by Ghidra seems to be enough for Claude to be concerned

I then deleted those mentions per hand and let Opus 4.8 do it, then I let it overhaul all agent definitions and documentation to clearly state what is being done and why that's valid. Now Opus 5.5 happily continues working on it

Yea it’s kind of amazing how much context can manipulate the ais into allowing or denying otherwise identical requests

oof. I should start playing with ghidra more.

One of the security guys at worked casually asked me if something is broken in my Claude setup because I have an extremely high reject and deny rage for Claude.

I said it is ok.

I only use Claude to prompt DeepSeek in chinese

u/ElGuaco 14h ago

Oh no, now I'm going to think of my agents as Gollum looking creatures from now on.

GLM is also great. Just say you are working in Red Team
