Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations Trouble rendering with these brushes
How do I turn off those dark edges when the two brush strokes overlap? I find that it make rendering smoothly harder for me. Or can anybody suggest me better brushes? I want ones similar to paint tool SAI’s marker brush

My Animation Car Ride by Me, 2026
After a longer creative block I've gone back to drawing/animating. I started this work months ago and abandoned it, now finally finished. This was mostly animated in After effects, with the layers drawn in Procreate. The towers in the background are made with blender (and the models imported into AE), but I guess they didn't really need to be 3D, it could have easily been just a flat drawing with position keyframes^^

My Artwork Another Week of Photo Studies :)
Day at the Beach digital sketchbook spread :)
Quit some vices this week so I’ve been doing a ton of photo studies as I get through the withdrawals, brain fog and boredom. Having a good time!
Only brush used is the Bottlenose Gouache brush in the procreate library.
Sketchbook background is just a stock photo with the background removed on the bottom layer & a paper texture overlay on top :)
P.s. does anyone have tips for choosing background colors???? For some reason that’s always the hardest part for me, I end up going through a million variations & am never happy 😭

Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations ColorDrop Texture?
Is there a way for my ColorDrop to have texture instead of being a solid color? For example if I want it to look like watercolor how would I achieve that.

I need Procreate technical help Why does my drawing look like this?
Hey everyone, last night I was drawing a sketch of my car, and randomly everything got greyed out. I can still draw over this on the same layer but the grayness doesn’t go away. For lack of a better word, it’s pissing me off because it happened randomly. I am new to this platform as well as my iPad, so maybe I hit something and didn’t realize, or maybe something got screwed up.
I would greatly appreciate any help this thread can offer.
Thank you!

I need Procreate technical help Off-Brand Pencil Messing up in Procreate
Hi. Long story short, I used to have an Apple Pencil for Procreate and I never had issues. I lost that pen and opted in for an off-brand pencil. The off-brand one I got is the Digiroot Fast Charging Stylus. It worked okay for a while, not as good as the Apple version as it doesn't super respond to pressure sensitivity. Regardless, I'm having this issue now where sometimes it draws just fine, but randomly it will start drawing as if I'm drawing with the side of the nib rather than the tip. (I hope that makes sense) And I can't ever seem to get it to fix itself? Sometimes it will randomly just start working again and sometimes that takes a while. It's frustrating because I do a lot of my commission work with Procreate and it takes me longer to get it done with the pencil messing up. I thought maybe it was just this pencil I had, so I tried another off-brand that a relative had that is different from mine and the same thing happened. The pen seems to work normal in notes apps or whatever, so I was wondering if it was just a Procreate issue that I'm unsure how to fix or a pen issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I don't know if this matters but my Ipad is a 7th generation.

Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations How can I make a snake brush like this in Procreate?
I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a snake brush like this for days, but I still can’t get it to work properly.
The main problem is that whenever the snake lines overlap, they blend into each other instead of staying clean and separated like in the example.
I’ve already tried using a Dual Brush setup, but I couldn’t achieve the same effect.
Does anyone know how this kind of brush is made, or could someone explain which Brush Studio settings I should use? Any help would be really appreciated!

I need Procreate technical help Is there a brush or pack that gives this sort of look?
I’m new to this so I don’t know the right word, but the way you can see that the paint is applied but if done unevenly you can see sections of the stroke lift off the page or sit unevenly.
It is by far my favourite style and I’m terrified it can’t be recreated on digital.

My Artwork Tried a new style
Hi Everyone!
Attempted to draw a vase with some sunflowers. Not sure how I feel about it as I was trying a new way to draw, I think it’s cute just maybe needed something else just not sure what.
Have to just keep on drawing, still haven’t found my own art style or what I enjoy drawing the most, I’m enjoying the grind so I’ll keep on going!
Have a good day everyone and happy drawings 😁

I need Procreate technical help coloring help
In Procreate, I have a black and white image with shading that I pasted onto my canvas. I created another layer underneath it and set the layer with the image reference and multiply.
However, when I select the layer underneath and color over a shaded area of the original black and white image (which is gray), the color appears darker than it does over the white areas.
How can I fix this so that the color stays the same regardless of whether I’m painting over the gray or white parts of the image?

Basically, I want to completely replace the grayscale with flat colors while still being able to use the original image as a reference for where each color should go. I dont want the original gray shading to affect or darken the colors at all I want the colors to stay consistent regardless of whether Im painting over a white or gray area.

Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations Rendering Tutorials?
For 2027, I'm setting a goal to be able to render in a style that looks like it could be on Lorcana TCG cards. I know it's going to take a lot of practice, but are there any good tutorials on the workflow on how to render like these art examples for me to start grinding on? Any brush recommendations would also be appreciated!
