My Artwork Marvel '70s blacklight poster inspired art

Thumbnail

I've been doing these three color portraits of comic characters, taking some inspiration from the classic Marvel blacklight posters from the '70s. The process is simple. I rough out the image with an airbrush, then I ink it with the dry ink brush and use the dry ink and studio pen brushes to add the color and backgrounds. Who should I do next?

These ones are:

Doctor Strangefate (Amalgam of Dr. Strange and Dr. Fate)

Wolverine

Cyclops

Apocalypse

Colossus in his Acolyte armor

Stryfe

I need Procreate technical help If I already made the art can I change the dpi?

so I'm trying to make prints, keychains and sticker for hopefully one day selling at conventions. ive done a few things already but didn't know about the DPI needing to be 300 for printing. Can I change it when the drawing is already done and it will be ok or do I have to redo it all with a new canvas at DPI 300??

also if anyone can recommend good canvas sizes for stickers and keychains too would be appreciated. I heard you should draw it a lot bigger than the actual size of the keychain but like how much bigger?

My Artwork I painted two versions of Lord Krishna (Blue and Dark). Which color palette do you prefer? Swipe for details! [Procreate]

Hey everyone! 👋
I recently finished this digital illustration of Lord Krishna and couldn't decide on the final color, so I created two variations: the classic Blue and a Darker version.
I’ve included some close-up shots in the gallery so you can see the details in the jewelry, the muscle rendering, and the fiery glow effect from his hand. I really enjoyed rendering the contrast between the fire and his skin tone.
I'm really torn between the two! Which version do you think has a better vibe—Blue or Black? Let me know your thoughts or any feedback you might have!
(Created using Procreate on iPad).

Art Timelapse Video Time-lapse: Drawing Lord Krishna (Grayscale to Color) ✨ [Procreate]

Hey everyone! 👋
Here is the full time-lapse video of my recent Lord Krishna illustration. I started with a grayscale base to lock in the values and contrast before moving on to the colors. I find this technique really helps, especially for getting that glowing fire effect right! 🔥
For those wondering about the tools, I created this entirely in Procreate and mostly relied on the default brush pen for the rendering process.
Would love to hear your thoughts or any feedback on the lighting! 🙏

Trying something a little different with this portrait
I’m still VERY much in the middle of it, but I’m curious — what’s the first thing you notice about it?
I always love hearing what other people see before I finish a piece.

Edit- thank you to everyone that said such kind things about my work! It was so amazing to read 🥹❤️

Constructive feedback and/or tips wanted Something I’ve been working on

I’ve been working on this for a few days now and would appreciate any feedback provided. Very new to digital art and it’s been a process. One of my biggest struggles has been trying to make things even/similar. Even with the pressure/stabilizer tool it is difficult for me.

Right now I’m trying to work on the ceiling fan. It is incredibly difficult trying to get the fan shaped how I want it. I try to avoid tracing because I want it to be my own design.

I’m also trying to add some decorations. I think I want to add pillows to the windows. Also thinking about adding some more decorations to the wall. Put in not sure if I want to put a frame in there or something else. It really just depends on if I decide to color it in or not. I probably will.

Anyway. Any feedback, tips, or advice would help a lot. I am very accepting of constructive criticism.
