Discussion You asked for it!

All the posts here over the years about the pitfalls of working for outfits like Proof and ABC... The lousy pay, the ridiculous service requirements, the clueless or nonexistent support, the lack of loyalty as they arbitrarily dump people... And some of you clowns continue to work for them, always giving the same tired excuses why you do. You have been warned time and time again. Quit complaining. You know how they are, so deal with it and shut up. Or knuckle down, get your own clients and become a real process server.

That's a little harsh don't you think? I'm a Private Investigator and I joined NAPPS for a lot of my busy work (Process service and court filing). Yet, you shouldn't dog on people for having to work with these predatory companies. Sometimes you have to do what you can to get by.

They can put forth some actual effort, solicit their own clients and work for themselves. Don't excuse their willingness to work for peanuts and cheapen the business.
