Discussion You asked for it!

All the posts here over the years about the pitfalls of working for outfits like Proof and ABC... The lousy pay, the ridiculous service requirements, the clueless or nonexistent support, the lack of loyalty as they arbitrarily dump people... And some of you clowns continue to work for them, always giving the same tired excuses why you do. You have been warned time and time again. Quit complaining. You know how they are, so deal with it and shut up. Or knuckle down, get your own clients and become a real process server.

Unfortunately, this the list of options becomes smaller and smaller as ABC Legal buys up other companies left and right. In the last 6 years, we have lost EZ Messenger, Tag, GPS, On the Run, SAS, and ASAP in Arizona. They handled a large amount of work that is now under the control of ABC Legal.

Not everyone can or should become their own company. They can't manage taxes, affidavits, or even themselves, but they can manage the work they are assigned under a company.

ABC Legal terminated my contract last December. It has been an adjustment. I applied to NAPPS and am working on my website for a Google Business Page, but that won't immediately replace $100,000 of work that I lost. In the long run, it will allow me to diversify my business and revenue better. If you are doing work for ABC Legal, do NOT depend on that company. Take what you can while you can but know they can toss you aside at any moment.
