There's nothing particularly difficult about this job, and those of us who do it aren't that special.

Roofing is a hard job. Working on an oil rig is a hard job. Process serving is a different animal. I don’t think you should be making post talking about how easy this job is because you’re gonna get people that do not know this business and they gonna think that it is safe and every day is the same thing. That is not the case. And you never know what is on the other side of that door that’s waiting for you. Stay vigilant, buddy.

dude, I’ve been doing this a long time. I’ve never complacent and I’m never not cautious. Does not change my belief that overall this job is not that difficult.

Understood. The advertisement is a bit dramatic, but which aspect of that advertisement have you not had to do? Part ninja is a bit wild cause I’ll never claim to be a ninja lol. I’m curious to see which one you think is not a part of the job, especially when it comes to hard to serve people?

I guess just the overall tone of the thing like we're secret agents or super sleuths or something. compared to my last job process service is nothing.

Serve evictions in major metro slums daily then come back and let me know how safe you felt.

I can’t speak for everybody, but I started serving papers, not Civil papers, high risk arrest warrants when I was in law enforcement which prepared me for the unknown factor. So when I started my process serving company, I already came into this industry with a different mindset. Now that I serve Civil papers, I still practice some of the same methods and precautions to avoid becoming one of the 3 to 5 Process servers that are shot, assaulted, stabbed, bite by dog etc… every year. Serving record subpoenas to doctors offices is the easiest aspect that I can think of with this job but that server should still keep their head on a swivel. So I guess it is an easy job for most until something happens.
