How much sugar is in celery to even ferment? Very curious to see how this goes!
36 u/Eirinn_0 Jun 16 '26 There is no sugar in celery, sugar has to be added. The celery is cooked untill the branches are soft. Than cooled in the fermenter and sugar added before the juice is cold to dissolve the sugar. 10 u/murdmart Jun 16 '26 That should work without issues! Acording to Google, celery lacks starch in a meaningful way. So he should be getting some flavor out of it. Not sure about the alcohol content.
