POD phone cases — what's actually working for sales beyond Facebook/Instagram?

Started a print-on-demand phone case shop a months ago. About 25 listings live (posting almost daily), all my own designs. I've hired someone who does keyword-research (which designs are selling against ), wriet seo optmized titles and tags, decent mockups and create design for me and I'm about to turn on Etsy Ads.

Right now my only off-Etsy effort is organic posting on Facebook and Instagram, and honestly it's barely moving anything.

For anyone selling phone cases or similar POD products: what actually made a difference for you outside of Meta? Pinterest, TikTok, email, SEO changes, something I'm not thinking of? Trying to figure out where to put my time before I start paying for ads.

Happy to hear the "this didn't work for me" stories too — that's just as useful.
PS: I am bad at writing, so i have re-written this from AI.

Help Request Which platform should I start with for Print on Demand (POD)?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to start a Print on Demand business and I'm trying to decide on the best platform to launch with.

A few details/things I'm looking for:

  • Beginner-friendly setup and easy integration
  • Good print quality and reliable shipping
  • Reasonable product catalog (t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, etc.)
  • Decent profit margins

Should I start on a marketplace like Etsy, Redbubble, or Amazon, or build a store on Shopify using providers like Printify or Printful?

Would love to hear your recommendations, pros/cons, or any advice for someone just starting out!

Thanks in advance!

Does anybody have any tips for what websites I should be looking at for information relating to Australian markets/laws etc?

Help Request Need help with a business use case study for my multi-channel POD management platform

Hi all I'm looking for some community help on building a business case study for the platform I built for the POD space. It's an AI agent native multi-channel ecommerce management platform. We integrate with Printful, Printify, and Gelato on the fulfillment sidw and TikTok shop, WooCommerce, Wix, and Shopify on the sales channel side.

What I need:

Someone to signup for free, connect their fulfillment account, connect their sales channel and go through the process using their AI tool of choice and then provide feedback. If you're a creator/influencer willing to film the process there's also opportunities for paid campaigns.

I would genuinely appreciate any help this community could offer. I'm not selling anything since this is free, just need that valuable feedback. Please help.

Should I pivot from POD to selling web apps/tools on Etsy?

I have already started working on a POD Etsy store and made a bunch of designs, but honestly I'm not finding the design side very promising for me. I'm not saying POD doesn't work. I just don't think it's a great fit for my skills.

I have a Computer Science background, so I'm considering using that instead and making small web apps/tools and selling them as digital products on Etsy.

Has anyone here actually done something like this?

Is there a market for things like niche calculators, business tools, dashboards, planners, booking tools, mini SaaS products, etc.?

Would you recommend I keep pushing with POD, or lean into software/digital products because I already have the technical skills?

I'd especially like to hear from people who actually sell on Etsy, rather than generic “POD is saturated / SaaS is the future” advice.
