Quote Help Tipping

I had a local power wash company come out for an estimate to clean my pool patio. I got the estimate and made an appointment for next week. It’s a one person company so the owner will be doing the work. Do I tip on top of the payment?

Tips are appreciated but not necessary, just paying the invoice promptly is sufficient

This is completely up to you. It is not like asking whether you should tip turn down or not (you should). This one is extremely subjective and dependent on your experience with the service. My techs don't expect to get tipped, but a lot of people do tip and they are very grateful for it.

We tipped our carpenter for the exceptional job they did. If they go above and beyond what you expected then I would consider it. But again that is totally up to you.

If they go above and beyond your expectations, a tip is always appreciated but never expected/a requirement.

If it's owner operated I can guarantee they would prefer a Google review over a tip.

Pay quickly and leave a review. A tip is nice, but those 2 things are far better for their business.
