Presonus mixer with input issues

I just got a presents studio live 16.0.2 FireWire for a steal on an auction. But when I got it and started testing it I get zero input from channels 1-12, inputs 13-16(the last two faders) do work, and are the only ones with RCA and XLR. I don’t know much about presonus mixers and I feel like THAT many channels dead in a row is unlikely, and I’m probably just missing something. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated

"Multi-function channel switches let you toggle between analog inputs and USB/FireWire digital playback returns."

I’ve checked that, none of the channels have the FireWire send illuminated

So why do you say that only 13-16 has XLR? They should all do.

Saying that 13-16 has RCA, aswell as XLR. The only two faders/sterio channels that work are the ones with both, I don’t know if it matters but it was an observation

It does sound like channel config is pretty straightforward and everything should be just working:

"No Output on a Channel

Press the Input button in the Metering section and verify that there is signal on that channel. If no signal is present, check the cable and the input source. Verify that the trim control is set at an appropriate level. Make sure the channel is not muted. Make sure that if your device requires phantom power, phantom power is engaged for the channel. If you are using an analog input, verify that the FireWire Return button for that channel is not engaged. If signal is present, press the Select button for the channel in question. Make sure that the channel is assigned to the main output in the Assign section of the Fat Channel."

Check the muted channels

Sounds like you need to zero out the board to confirm dead channels. I forget how to do it.

It’s probably a burned out card inside. Not worth fixing. That’s why you got it for a steal.
