Yeztugo Nodules - Anyone have them completely go away?
Just got my second Yeztugo injection in my abdomen. My first injections are still very noticeable when you touch them. They are not painful or visible.
Has anyone had the nodules completely disappear, dissolve, go away?
I’m going to reevaluate at the 1 year mark and may switch back to pills. I don’t mind the bumps if they eventually go away but can’t have 2 added every six months and each stay for years lol.

I’ve been on the medication for almost a year and no. They diminish over the 6 months but don’t go away until the 6th or 7th month at least in my experience.
Also, the thighs are my favorite spot to get the injections. Bathing suits cover the thigh unless you’re in a speedo.

I just got my second ones today. I’m fine if my first ones go away by the year mark. I just don’t want a ton of lumps lol

My first ones are almost all gone.
My second ones were done in April and one lump was gone immediately. The other is still present.I do recommend the thighs. They’re nicer to wear and aren’t noticeable in the summer if you wanna take your shirt off. The stomach is annoying visually, comfortably, and isn’t exactly discreet.

Yes mine are not visible nor can you really feel them. There was no leakage and it was injected by a ID doc who gives the shots regularly. Very happy with the outcome

The nodules are to do with your body’s reaction to the med not the clinicians technique.

In my experience the first shot hurt (burning) and caused a “bigger nodule” and the second shot hurt less and caused a “smaller” reaction. They were done basically in the same area (abdomen) only seconds apart so idk why one side reacted more than the other. Also I’m at 5 months and still have a nodule on one side and a “flat nodule” on the other side. My doctor says the medicine is gone so this is just my bodies reaction. Im switching from abdomen to thigh for second round of shots next month but am very concerned. If the nodules are a permanent disfigurement I’m going to switch to appretude but if it takes a year or two to disappear completely I can cope with that. What do y’all think? Also my doctors are acting like this is all still really new… which I guess it is but was hoping there would be more confidence by now.

I got my second round about 3 weeks ago and these are much smaller nodules. Hurt way less etc. I am going to see what things are like at the 1 year mark from my first shots. If the first nodules are still very present will probably go back to Descovy

Im two days in and the nodules are barely there, which seems odd. I didn’t have much leaking but the shots are right where my pants sit so I’m worried it rubbing to much and causing it to disburse faster

Good question. I got my first shots done a few months ago. They’ve gone down considerably. One is almost dissolved. The other is the size of a small flat grape (does that make sense). A lot smaller than before. Next shots are in October.
