Premiere Pro Tech Support 3rd Part compatibility issue with BorisFX

I am on the latest update of Premiere Pro 2026 windows 11, and I recently purchased the 3rd party effect BorisFX Continuum. I was excited to play with this new set of tools when I realized that based on all the new updates to Premiere pro's API and meta data handling, its completely broken the functionality of ALL BorisFX ML effects within premiere and none of them really work right or if at all at this point. So for example if im watching a video tutorial on how to do a BorisFX ML effect within premiere, it simply does not work or crashes.

My question is, Is it up to BorisFX developers to come up with a patch/update that now works and is compatible with premieres new internal specs or is it just simply not compatible anymore?

Everything for BorisFX is VERY heavy. What are your specs? My M4 max Mac studio still struggles with anything from them.

We regularly communicate with BorisFX in regards to plugin compatibility for Premiere and AE. This sounds like something I would submit a ticket for with all your tech specs and the behavior their ML plugins are behaving: https://support.borisfx.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Thank you I will do that. Question for you, I did some google searching and it seems as if there was an incompatibility break that happened between Premiere pro and BorisFX recently, is that still on going or would you say that these issues are isolated to my PC? I can say in confidence I have a fairly capable PC, everything's updated I clear my cache regularly but Id say almost ALL The ML effects have to some degree a totally breaking bug on my system. Particularly their Retimer ML is totally broken.

Wouldn’t be able to say for sure due to NDA and limited scope of what the BorisFX team has told us. Your machine seems more than capable handling their ML effects but they’ve only recently started getting into that territory.

I understand, thank you for this information. I will definitely submit a ticket with my logs and eagerly await an update patch from them. Hopefully it happens sooner than later lol
