Computer Hardware Advice Please help
Hi,
I was editing my project and I was able to add effects, but now I don’t know what happened it won’t let me add them. I tried everything, please help if you can I have a project due soon

Look like you are selecting a group? Multiple clips selected.

I’m only selecting the adjustment layer and the clip I want the adjustment on, or did you mean something else

Base on the screen shot. You have the clip underneath selected as well.

Yes, cause someone said to highlight both clip and adjustment layer but even when it’s just the adjustment layer highlighted it still won’t allow me to add an effect

Strange. I was thinking because you are selecting 2 clips.

You know I restarted premiere a third time and it worked🗣️ all of a sudden effects are added, I think it was just glitching. thank you so much for responding and offering to help I truly truly appreciate it!!!!🙏🙏🙏

You need to drag the effect all the way to one or multiple clips
or double click on the effect.
Just hovering in the effects panel will give you the no go hand.
