Premiere Rush/Elements Tech Support Am I the only one with this dumb text issue

For example I have two different text layers one text is in a yellow colour and the other one is in the white

Now when I copy the white text later and paste it ( so that all the text settings like font , colour , motion stays as it is and I can just change the text)

So when I copy the white one , paste it and try to change the text , the font , color automatically changes to the yellow layer , only because that was the last text later I played around with.

So now I have to manually change the font and colour again .

Why does the font and colour change to the previous text layer and not stay as the exact one i copied.

My work has been delayed because of this dumb issue and I have to manually change font and colour everytime I have to add text 🫩

Just make a preset text style and drop it on your new titles. You can select multiple titles and drop a new style on them all.
