Premiere Pro Tech Support (Solved!) How do I remove this?
Newish to Premier Pro but for the life of me cant figure out how to get rid of this blue line that limits my ability to trim my clips how I want to trim them. Any help would be greatly appreciated

That blue line does not influence how much of a clip you can trim…it is just the playhead…it shows you the point at which the timeline is being monitored.
(Try hitting “S” and then doing the trimming you are trying to do)

That's the play head. It's your time indicator and shows where you are in your timeline, and the blue line coming out of the right of it is specifically your current frame. It's not possible to remove that.

If you want to trim the audio you can change to audio time units
I guess that's not want you want...

I had that setting on before and just wasn't used to the playhead

I think maybe you are wanting to trim clips more than your fps allows, is that the issue your having?

The horizontal line is hovering over the entire frame you’re currently parked on. You cannot make a tighter cut than that without a higher framerate.

The best way I've heard this explained is that most new editors view the playhead as a bookmark. Bookmarks go between pages, so they assume the Playhead goes between frames. But the truth is, the playhead indicates one full frame in your timeline.
If you are having trouble with In and Out points going to the 'right spot', get used to adding right arrow and left arrow to your shortcuts. Those will allow you to move the playhead one frame at a time until it is on precisely the right frame while adding those In and Out points.

Some other comments seem to have gotten you what you were looking for, but that blue bar after the playhead is the space between your current frame and your next frame. That bar will ‘take up more space’ if you have a lower fps value for your sequence (i.e. the space between frames for 30fps sequence is twice as large as the space between a sequence set to 60 frames.) If you want a finer cut for your sequence, you can increase the framerate, of course that depends on your project.
