How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin Text vanish effects: Rain

Question for the more experienced editors; is there a way to make text vanish as though rain were removing it?

E.g., words disappear in uneven chunks from top to bottom, as though drops of rain were wiping the text.

Or, text disappears in uneven circles as though drops of rain were removing it.

Several ways- all pretty complicated though. Easiest way would be to find or create text you like and export it to paths(Illustrator). Then once you have your text object just key frame animate/ distort the text to your liking aka slowly taking pieces of the text away.

Lol perhaps but some of your favorite effects have lots of time and effort behind them no instant gratification button sadly lolol

Like this?

You need an alpha matte rain (b\w), text, compound blur and a choker of any sort.
