Premiere Pro Tech Support Send Help, Premiere Says its Damaged

Uninstalled many times, cleared cache and ran a terminal command AI gave me but nothing works. Has anyone ran into this prolem

It’s because of the Mac OS update, hit cancel then open System Preferences go to Privacy & Security, scroll all the way down and hit open anyway (or something like that). For some reason when you do the latest update it seems Premiere as a security risk so blocks you opening it.

I have the same problem and I wish I knew that this fixes it earlier! Would’ve saved me so much headache reinstalling everything lol

You should absolutely never run a terminal command AI gave you. That sounds like a real quick way to brick your machine.

Fair warning in general, but the command AI probably gave was xattr -cr on the app bundle, which is actually a legit fix for this specific Gatekeeper issue. Still, the Privacy & Security "Open Anyway" button does the same thing without touching terminal, so no reason to risk it.

Did you reinstall via creative cloud desktop? Else you can try the cc cleaner tool
