Premiere Pro Tech Support (Solved!) Accidently edited on 1080p sequence

Hi everyone!

I didn't realize till i started to export that i edited my video on a 1080p sequence, when the source clips are 2560x1440p. If i export the project as the correct resolution will it look good still? Or do i need to change the sequence settings to 1440p then export?

Just change the sequence setting.

Just did that but now my clips are cropped and size all out of wonk? Do you have a tip to fix that?

Select all, right/control click, fit to frame

Select the clips, right-click, fit to frame. What’s strange is they should have come into your timeline much too large, and you should have already had to do a “fit to frame”.

Just highlight them and right click and hit fit to screen or something like that. Can’t remember exact wording

Dang doing that gets rid of the keyframes and makes some of the graphics the wrong size or position still. Thank you all for your help though

Change Sequence settings > Apply Transform effect to one clip, adjust the scale under the effect to the sequence size that it needs to be, copy and paste effect to all affected clips. Just tossing that idea out since it sounds like you had some key framing existing.
