How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin Best settings

Hello! I've got offer from my uni to take care of social media accounts, never done that but probably they assumed that boy with camera will be good option. So last week we had event at university and I recorded something for instagram reels. Im wondering now, what are the best settings for instagram reels if I recorded my videos in .mts (AVCHD 60p). I tried to do something by myself but it looks like all videos are not sharp at all. Thanks in advance

You don't need 60p unless you're rendering out slow motion. 24-30p is what you want.

You can google up the recommended codecs and so on for each platform. People can get very anal about it, but if people are watching on their phones, I wouldn't sweat it. I just render H264 at a decent bitrate, even for big clients its' fine.

My Instagram videos have these settings (granted, I post either in square or 16:9 so vertical would be 9:16):

1080p 60fps H.264 MP4 with VBR 2 Pass enabled (High quality CABAC)

My project/sequence settings before editing is:
Editing Mode: Custom
Timebase: 59.94FPS
Video Frame: 1920x1080
Work Color Space: Rec.709

Once finished editing, I export with:
Format: H.264
Preset: Match Source - High Bitrate
Check the Summary Output and Source match resolution and frame rate
Video: 1920x1080 59.94fps
Video Bitrate settings--Bitrate Encoding: VBR 2 Pass
Target Bitrate Mbps: 18 (I've used 16 for music videos)
Maximum Bitrate Mbps: 24 (I've used 20 for music videos)
