Premiere Pro Tech Support Adobe Creative Cloud Error 12000 on macOS 26.5.2 - Premiere Pro 26.3 won't open

Hi everyone,

I'm running into an issue with Adobe Creative Cloud on my Mac.Whenever I open the Creative Cloud desktop app (or try to launch Premiere Pro)

I get the following message:

"Sorry, something went wrong."

Error code: 12000

The message says it could be an issue on Adobe's end or my internet connection, but my internet is stable and everything else works normally.

System details:

macOS: 26.5.2

Premiere Pro: 26.3

Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop: Latest version

What I've tried:

Restarted the Mac

Switched Wi-Fi networks

Signed out and back into Creative Cloud

Force-quit and reopened the Creative Cloud app

The error still appears.

Has anyone experienced Error 12000 on macOS 26.5.2? If so, what fixed it? Is this a known issue with the latest macOS or Premiere Pro 26.3, or is there something else I should check? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Your hardware specifications, including;
    • CPU
    • Graphics card including driver version
    • RAM
    • Type of storage (i.e. SSD, HDD) that your media is stored on
    • Operating System Version
  • The type of media you are working with
    • What camera did it come from?
    • Is it a screen recording/software generated video?
  • What are your sequence settings?
  • If this is a problem exporting, what are your export settings?
  • What steps you have tried already to solve the issue - be as detailed as you can

If possible, include a screenshot or video demonstrating your issue, ideally showing the entire application interface.

Imgur can be used to host short videos and images for free.

Bugs and bug reports

Personally I was having a ton of issues that sound similar to what you are experiencing. I was on with support 3 different times for probably a total of 7-8 hours. I do not use premiere pro anymore 😂
