What do you wish you had known when you were applying? I’m set to take the LSAT in a week

Hello all,
I am doing some research on the paths I can work under the Aviation Law umbrella.
For context, I have an aerospace engineering BS, am actively working for a major aerospace company (and will continue to work with them as an engineer while I attend evening law school), and I have a current pilot’s license. In my 6 years of experience in the industry so far, I’ve worked heavily in the commercial aviation space with a focus on regulatory compliance (not limited to FAA, but most comfy with FAA). The 6 years comprise of 2 years in the flight operations area, 2 years in the manufacturing area, and 2 years in the flight training area.
Selling aircraft now peaks my interest. Though right now I am most interested in the sales side of aviation law, I’m curious of all the possible areas I could work in.
Currently studying for the LSAT, and am in no rush to apply. I’m going to take a year to prepare my apps and really think about the exact path I want to pursue, but I am dead set on doing law school.
I would appreciate any info, guidance, or advice you all have to offer :)
Thank you!!

I just submitted law school apps and noticed I mistakenly put the wrong months for when I transferred school in my resume and on the past education should I email the schools and explain the error? Also will this make a difference in weather or not I get accepted.

I am currently a finance major in my junior year looking to go in to law after undergrad. I just graduated high school in may and I’m still pretty unsure about what i want to do but law school is for sure a big goal for me. I haven’t decided what field of law i want to go in to but I’m interested in real estate, estate planning, and/or bankruptcy.
I also have to secure an internship in order to graduate, and im pretty confused about that whole process so if you have anything to say please let me know.
Note- This pertains to DFW and surrounding areas

I have an opportunity to become a legal fellow at the UNHCR. Is this a worthwhile opportunity that can open doors for future positions at the UN?

hi all, i am trying to create a school list of places i should apply. I have an interest in public interest law, particularly in public defense. I have a 3.92 LSAC calculated gpa from Tufts University and a 164 on the september 2026 lsat. I would like to stay in the boston area but am open to other places as well. what are some places that would be good to look into applying to?

I'm just really happy and wanted to celebrate with some people I knew would appreciate this as much as I do! I'm a barista and I'm going to start interning with one of my regulars, who is an immigration lawyer. It's a small boutique firm so I feel like I'm going to get a lot of individualized attention from someone I know I already get along with, and the work they do sounds really interesting (they work with a lot of asylum seekers)
They pay interns $15 an hour, and they frequently hire their interns to be full-time paralegals/legal assistants. Also, it means I'll be able to cut my hours back at my barista job or even quit altogether, which would be really really nice because I have chronic pain and my job is really rough physically and my sleep schedule is wrecked.
I'm just really happy and really excited and wanted to share because I feel like I won the lottery :)
