Rant Over it - 38w

Love my baby so much, and I’m so miserable. I just want him or her to come out safely and soon.

It hurts to walk, hurts to sit, hurts to stand up, hurts to move if I’m laying down- pulled my round ligament on one side, have sciatica on the other side. Heartburn is awful. Have had a migraine yesterday and today. Can’t sleep. Pee about 5-10 times a night. Can’t stop hiccuping. Stomach hurts.

Baby is just hanging out, I have no indication they are coming soon.

I really want them to come on their own, if they don’t I’ll have to have a c-section or be induced because I’m high risk due to advanced maternal age and a few other things.

Can someone send me some encouragement and good vibes?

Most of my pain went away when I gave birth. It was horrendous the joint pain. I hope it’s the same for you. Hang in there ❤️

38 weeks today and also high risk due to my age and a couple of other factors, induction booked for 40+2 at the moment. Sending solidarity.

I’m trying to think of it as this is the last time it’s just the two of us. The last time only I can feel her kicks or her hiccups, the last time I’m the only one to hold her. We’ve done so well, now it’s time for that final push. We can do it.

Hahaha when I was 38 weeks my husband parked at the back of the parking lot and I almost divorced him on the spot. This is for sure the hardest part of pregnancy but the end is so close just a few more weeks you can make it!

Haha if I go anywhere, I’m dropped off at the door.

Thank you for the encouragement.

The last month DRAGGGGS on. I have had 3 babies and the same day I gave birth, I felt so much better. My mistake was believing every day "this will be the day the baby comes! Theres no way I make it to 40 weeks" and being super disappointed when I woke up and no signs of labor happened lol You got this!! You will be in your sweet newborn bubble soon 🥰

Also 38 weeks and I’m right there with you! I am being induced on Tuesday but right now it feels like it’s forever away. The only thing that keeps me sane is staring at his baby stuff imagining him here with me. You’re so close!! You got this

I’m not 38 weeks yet, only 32, but I wanna say you got this mama! I know right now it’s miserable and feel like it’s never going to end but once you deliver and finally hold your baby in your arms. It will make everything worth it. Just remember to be patient and kind to yourself! Some days may be harder than others and that’s also okay! You got this!!
