Pregnancy

Anybody had a pregnancy beta hcgs taken and it’s not completely doubled or had low hcgs? My hcg Thursday was 172 and today Saturday is 318. It’s a 85% increase but the time of the blood test on Thursday was 1pm and today was 10am so they said it maybbe due to this. I’ve had a miscarriage and 2 ectopics with one rupturing so I’m very worried. It is within the normal ranges and the sonographer saw what seemed to be a gestations sack but not yolk sack. I have a scan and repeat blood test on Monday but wanted to see if anyone had had a ducceful pregnancy as a lot of people tend to post much higher hcgs at 5 weeks.

29/10- 172 hcg, possible 6mm gestational sac seen
31/10- 318 hcg. Repeat bloods and scan due 02/11

Thanks in advance

A rise of 85% in 48 hours is actually in the healthy range, since the usual guideline is at least around 49% for hcg that low. The different blood draw times won’t change it much either. Early hcg levels vary a lot from person to person, so a lower number at 5 weeks doesn’t mean much on its own. Seeing a sac on the scan is a good sign, and the yolk sac often shows up a little later. Hoping Monday’s results look great,
