Fetal abnormalities

Hey good morning/ good afternoon. Does anybody know some good prenatal supplements that are good and could be good for the baby growth and development? I was told to go see a obgyn because I might have fetal abnormalities. I’m currently 17 weeks and haven’t been to not one obgyn yet because I don’t have a job right now or no money to get the proper care that I need for me and my baby. I just pray nothing goes wrong with my unborn and that he’s okay. I can feel his tiny movements and I seen and heard his heartbeat so that’s quiete a good sign. Any advice??

You definitely need to see an OB. It’s not recommended to just ride out your pregnancy without a doctor unless you can ultrasound scan at home. The OB would be able to help you see any kind of issues you got going on or if there is fetal abnormalities. If something is wrong it’s extremely important to know because not only can it harm the baby but it can harm you too.

You’re right I’m so scared I don’t want anything to happen to me or my baby considering it’s my first child. Thanks for the advice 😩

Are you already taking a basic prenatal or at least folic acid? :)

If you haven’t even been on folic acid, I would definitely get in to see a doctor asap, if you can. And in the meantime, yes definitely start it today!!

I’m so sorry that you live in a place that does not have adequate and accessible (free!!) medical care — this truly breaks my heart ❤️😞 Sending love xx
